Enhancing Primo's Report-a-Bug Add-On: Automating It from Start to Finish. Valerie Florez, American Public University System.

Are you concerned that users are not submitting problem reports because it takes too much effort? Do librarians have to spend their valuable and limited time tracking down wayward resources? Are you itching to have more control over your Primo VE UX? Join us! Starting with the Primo VE customization package in Alma and Springshare's LibAnswers admin console, we will walk step by step through modifying the code from the Primo Studio Report-a-Bug add-on to provide an almost completely automated user experience for problem reports. And the icing on the cake: These reports, and all that wonderful metadata, will automatically appear in your institution's LibAnswers ticket queue! This is learn-by-doing coding, so no formal training is necessary.

Using UX Research to Enhance Discovery. Amy Deschenes, Harvard University.

In 2021 the Harvard Library User Research Center team conducted a survey, focus groups, and interviews to better understand the overall satisfaction and pain points with Primo, known at Harvard as HOLLIS. Through using multiple methods we heard from undergraduates, graduate students, and faculty members about their use of HOLLIS and desires for improvements. We used the information gathered to inform choices about feature implementation and updates to design customizations. The research continues to inform decision-making related to online discovery at Harvard.

Smart Lockers - Expanding Access and Increasing Efficiency. Chris Hobson, Luxer One; Camilo Asturias, Luxer One. (Gold Sponsor)

Smart lockers are a tool to add to your Alma system that provides the library staff with a quick and easy way to deliver library materials to patrons.

In this session, we will cover the following -
 - How smart lockers expand access to users outside of regular library hours.
 - How smart lockers reduce the work library staff do for online reservations.
 - The importance of having smart lockers that integrate with your Alma system.
 - How to determine if your library would benefit from smart lockers.

We will provide data from our existing users to show how adding smart lockers improved the user experience at those libraries.
